Case Management is a proactive cost containment approach to chronic/catastrophic illnesses/injuries: monitoring and coordinating services from hospitalization through discharge from care. The most cost effective aspect of case management is identifying and facilitating appropriate treatment in a tIME'sly fashion with in network providers.

Through early intervention, AMCS Case Management nurses are able to identify potential problems and complications. Our nurses then facilitate appropriate interventions to reduce the potential for additional/inappropriate treatment and costs. When possible case management identifies, recommends and implements cost effective alternatives with in network providers. When treatment is already established with out of network providers AMCS case managers can effectively negotiate discounts on charges resulting in substantial savings.
